Toolbox

This section collects together a set of resources for people offering individual guiding using the principles and practices of the Odoki Method.

These tools are intended to be used in a responsive fashion - the practitioner uses them when they hear something from a client to which the practice speaks - for them to work, they must be relevent to the client in their immediate lives. Otherwise they become academic exercises and loose all their value.

Context

Key to the Odoki Method is that the client experiences something. If we tell someone something, only their rational mind will take it in, and it will have limited impact. All of these exercises are designed to create a scenario where the client can “discover” the truth for themselves. Given they are discovering it, the practitioner cannot be sure exactly what they will discover, only hope that they will discover something valuable.
